I have been sitting on this image for about 2 months now and keep coming back to it for whatever reason. As many of you who watch me may (or may not

) have noticed I tend towards vivid color in almost all of my photos...particularly flowers. Usually, I can not bring myself to turn a beautifully colored flower black and white. Some of them, though, just scream black and white to me. This one was one of them. I was just never happy with my processing. Then today, I was going through deviations and came across this texture submission:

and immediately thought of my image. So I decided to see how it turned out.

I like the results. Btw, I love the color in her textures as well and will most likely use them again for color with something else. Thank you, A, for your wonderful textures.
